Under no circumstances will personal user data be sold or passed on to third parties for advertising purposes or for the creation of user profiles.

The information generated by the cookie about the user’s use of the website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, the IP address of Google users in the Member States of the European Union or in other States that are part of the Agreement on the European Economic Area will be shortened beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. At the request of the website operator, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating use of the website by users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage for the website operator.

Use of Facebook social plugins

This online offer uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The Plugins are recognizable by one of the Facebook or Instagram logos or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of the Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

If a user calls up a website from this online offer that contains such a plugin, their browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to the user's browser and integrated into the website by the browser. The Provider therefore has no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and thus informs users according to their level of knowledge: By integrating the plugin, Facebook receives information that a user has called up on the corresponding page of the online offer. If the user is connected to Facebook and/or Instagram, Facebook may attribute the visit to its Facebook or Instagram account. If a user interacts with the plugins, for example by pressing the "Like" button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook and/or Instagram, it is still possible for Facebook to find and store his/her IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymous IP address is stored.

The purpose and scope of data collection and the subsequent processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as the relevant rights and settings to protect the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

If a user is a member of Facebook or Instagram and does not wish Facebook to collect data about him/her through this online offering and associate it with his/her membership data stored on Facebook, he/she must log out of Facebook and Instagram before visiting the website and delete the corresponding cookies. It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins using browser add-ons, e.g. with the "Facebook Blocker".

Facebook Pixel

Our website uses the Pixel service of Facebook, Facebook Inc. 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") to measure conversion.

This allows us to track site visitors’ behaviour after they click on a Facebook ad to be directed to the provider's website, thus evaluating the effectiveness of Facebook Ads for statistical and market research purposes and optimizing future advertising efforts.

The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook's data use policy. This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook and non-Facebook pages. This use of data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

You can find further information on the protection of your privacy in the Facebook data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.

You can also disable the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function in the "Settings for advertisements" section of the page https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do so, you must be logged on to Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable Facebook-based advertising on the European Alliance for Interactive Digital Advertising website: https://www.youronlinechoices.com/.
