Located between tropical mountain forests, Paquibato is a community that grows many fruit trees, giving this Auro - Dark chocolate 70% Paquibato notes of forest flowers, dark honey and caramelized nuts.

Paquibato is a special community where more farmers are focusing on cacao farming to help break the cycle of conflict. Some of Auro Chocolate's partner farmers in this area are part of the Ata-Uvu-Manobo indigenous group and they have been guardians of their land for generations. With coconut and other fruit trees in abundance, they are home to one of the best flavored cacao beans in the Philippines. In 2019, the late Mr. Jose Saguban brought honor to the country when his beans ranked among the 20 Best Cacao Beans in the World at the Cocoa of Excellence Awards during Salon du Chocolat in Paris. This is the first time the Philippines has received this award.
