They train and encourage everyone involved in specialty cocoa production to enhance the quality and prestige of Colombian cocoa, while making cocoa-related careers attractive and stable.

Working at a very detailed scale, they taste each fermentation batch and consider each one individually when designing their recipes. Through field visits, tastings, and exchanges with its partners, Cacao Disidente researches and studies Colombian cocoa, its varieties, origins, and processing, among other criteria.

Aware of the importance of cocoa-growing regions, they work closely with cocoa producers, developing high-quality cocoa together, and their prices are significantly higher than local and international market prices to make cocoa production sustainable for small producers.
